Camp Henning Camprgound Rules, Regulations & Site Guidelines

• Speed Limit is 5 MPH for all motorized vehicles.

• Children under 16 years of age must be supervised at all times.

• Pets must be Leashed at all times, please pick up after them, and do not allow them to become a nuisance - excessive barking is a nuisance. Pets should not be left outdoors unattended.

• Quiet Hours:

  • 10pm - 8am Weekdays​

  • 11pm - 8am Weekends​​

• No open display of alcoholic beverages, alcohol must be in a cup or koozie. Boxes, cases, cans, nor bottles may be left out or visible.

• Intoxicated behavior is not permitted.

• One RVIA certified camping unit per site - no exceptions.

• One vehicle per site, additional vehicles are an additional $10 per day or $50 per month.

• Additional trailers are not permitted, covered utility trailers may be permitted upon owner approval and additional fee at owners discretion.

• ATV's/mini bikes/golf carts may not be operated on the campground.

• Cigarette butts should not be disposed of in fire pit, but completely put out in a trash can.

• Fireworks are prohibited.

• No permanent structures (sheds etc.)

• No swimming in Lake

• Everyone must register at the office. All visitors are $5/person/day

• Check-in begins at 3pm - please inquire about early check-in options.

• Check out is at 11am - please inquire about late check-out options.

• Campfires are permitted in fire rings, do not burn trash, including aluminum cans and cigarette butts.

• Please bag all trash and immediately place the bag in one of the trash cans located by the entrance of the campground. Any loose trash must ONLY be placed in one of the trash cans labeled "loose trash".

• You should always be respectful of your neighbors by using appropriate language/volume.

• Those staying in the Campground have access to the acreage of the Ellerbe Springs property including the multiple walking trails throughout the property and use of the 5-acre catch and release lake for fishing purposes only (swimming, kayaking, canoeing or boating of any kind is strictly prohibited for your safety. Entering any barn on the property or the old bath house is strictly prohibited. Standing on/crossing the dam is strictly prohibited. Campers release the Campground, its officers and employees of liability from any injury resulting from doing any of the above listed things.

•  In case of emergency, dial 911. Give your site number, Ellerbe Springs address 2537 N US HWY 220, Ellerbe NC. Then call the office 910-652-5600 to notify us of the emergency so we may assist emergency personnel and direct traffic.

The Campground cannot be held liable for injury or damage due to wind, water, fire or the negligence of you or others. These rules are made for your protection, safety and to ensure that all have a pleasant camping experience with us here at Camp Henning. You will be asked to leave without refund for noncompliance of any of the above rules, regulations, and/or guidelines.

Cancellation Policy: Ellerbe Springs (Camp Henning) does not issue refunds for the discomforts of nature, illness, injury or early departure. If you cancel your reservation, for whatever reason, if it is at least 30 days prior to check-in you can receive a 75% refund, if cancelled at least 7 days prior to your check-in date you can receive a 50% refund. No refund within 7 days of check-in. Our family would honor the opportunity to serve you in the future, please ask about rescheduling your reservation with us!
